Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Insert Coin ("the Service") is operated by Manifest AI Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our"). We collect the following information when you use Insert Coin:

• Account information: The email address you sign in with, along with your account preferences and settings. Sign-in is by magic link, so we do not collect or store a password.
• Diagnostic history: Your conversations with the diagnostic assistant, including the symptoms you describe, the machine you tag, any context you paste in, the answers generated, and your saved shop log.
• Machine requests: If you request that a machine be added to the library, the details you submit with that request.
• Usage data: Which features you use and when, and AI token counts, so we can operate the Service, enforce plan limits, and improve answer quality.
• Payment information: Processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status but never your credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service
• To generate diagnoses in response to your questions
• To process subscription payments and enforce plan limits
• To send transactional email, including sign-in links and account notifications
• To understand how features are used and improve the Service

3. How Answers Are Generated

To produce a diagnosis, we send the text of your question, together with the relevant manual sections retrieved for that machine, to a third-party language-model provider. We do not send your account email or other personal identifiers to that provider as part of generating an answer. The content of a diagnostic conversation is what is processed.

4. Data Storage and Hosting

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon, and the web application is hosted on Vercel. Both providers encrypt data in transit and at rest and publish their own security and compliance documentation, which you can review on their websites.

5. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties only as necessary to operate the Service:

• Language-model provider: The text of your question and the retrieved manual context, to generate an answer
• Stripe: Email and payment information for subscription billing
• Email provider: Your email address, to deliver sign-in links and account notifications
• Neon: Database hosting
• Vercel: Application hosting

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, the data associated with it (diagnostic history, shop log, settings) is permanently deleted. We do not retain backups of deleted user data.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your diagnostic history through the Service interface
• Delete your account and its associated data at any time
• Contact us with any privacy question or data request at the address below

8. Cookies

We use a session cookie for authentication (NextAuth). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

9. Children

The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the email associated with your account.
