1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Insert Coin ("the Service"), operated by Manifest AI Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Insert Coin is a software tool that provides AI-generated diagnostic assistance for pinball and classic arcade machine repair. You describe a symptom and the Service returns a step-by-step diagnosis grounded in the machine's operations manual, with citations to the manual pages it relied on. Manuals are drawn from publicly available archives and are cited rather than reproduced.

3. Not Professional Repair Advice

The Service is a software tool, not a licensed technician or a substitute for one. Its output is generated by a language model, can be incomplete or wrong, and has no knowledge of the specific condition of your machine. Nothing the Service provides is a guarantee of a correct diagnosis or a safe outcome. You are solely responsible for verifying any suggestion against the manufacturer's documentation and for the repair decisions you make.

4. Safety and High Voltage

Arcade and pinball machines contain lethal voltages. CRT monitors can hold a dangerous charge long after the machine is unplugged, and power supplies, transformers, and high-voltage sections can cause serious injury or death. By using the Service you acknowledge that:

• You are responsible for your own safety and for following proper procedures, including unplugging the machine and discharging stored energy before working inside it.
• AI-generated instructions may omit safety steps, misidentify a component, or be wrong in ways that are dangerous if followed blindly.
• You should not attempt work that exceeds your training, and you assume all risk of injury or property damage arising from any repair you undertake.

5. Account and Sign-In

Access to saved diagnoses and the diagnostic chat requires an account. Sign-in is by email magic link: you provide an email address and receive a one-time link to sign in. There is no password. You are responsible for maintaining access to, and the security of, the email address associated with your account, and you must not share your account with others.

6. Subscription and Payment

The Service offers a free tier limited to 3 diagnoses per rolling 7-day window, where a diagnosis is one chat conversation. A Founding Operator subscription provides unlimited diagnoses for $30 per year, billed annually through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or the Stripe billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods. Accounts that subscribed at the founder price keep that price until they cancel or change plans.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to bypass usage limits, scraping or bulk-extracting its content, reselling access, or using it to reproduce or redistribute copyrighted manuals. The Service surfaces synthesized, cited answers; it is not a distribution channel for the underlying documents.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider (sign-in and transactional email), the language-model provider that generates answers, and our database and application hosting providers. Your use of the Service is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Insert Coin and its operator shall not be liable for any injury, property or machine damage, repair costs, data loss, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or from actions you take based on its output. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any diagnosis it generates will be accurate, complete, or safe.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the email associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
